A global perspective and a new challenge!

During my twenties, I spent a year in Amsterdam, Netherlands where I was immersed in European sub-culture and influenced by European music scene and lifestyle. After coming back to Japan, I was involved in guitar repair, modification and customization, tuning, etc. as a guitar craftsman. Starting in 2003, I made 2 bass guitars under my own brand “Triple Cross”, and in 2006, I started my own shop “Nohira Studio”.
Beside bass guitars, I am very active in guitar making and collaboration with different industries. In 2007, I also started bass repair classes at the Joyful Honda Tomisato Branch. I am also currently collaborating with the famous designer JERRY YOQOTA to develop new products.
